Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy

I went in here last week to pick up a couple prescriptions and a few over-the-counter things, and overall it was a pretty smooth visit. The staff at the counter were polite and helped me sort out a small insurance mix-up without making it a big deal. The place was clean and pretty easy to navigate, though I did have to look around a bit for the vitamins section. My prescription was ready in a reasonable time, and the pharmacist answered a couple quick questions I had. Nothing fancy, but reliable and convenient, and I’d come back again.

The staff are simply the most professional, decent, abd genuinely kind people I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. What a concept: A stand-alone pharmacy that deals only with prescriptions and drugs and isn't stuck in the back of a larger store behind aisles of junk food and seasonal items, or off in the corner of a supermarket. Walking in without an appointment to get a flu shot, I was immediately struck with its air of professionalism and cleanliness. Plus everyone I dealt with was good-natured and genuinely friendly. In an age of ubiquitous chain drugstores, this one (a Walgreens), stands out like a gem.
