Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy

Each and every monthly order is a lesson in frustration. This month's order is up to 8 calls into Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy, all being given different answers. 3 calls "You've zero co-pay." 3 calls "You owe $3,450 before your order ships." 2 calls "I don't know why they told you/didn't tell you that." Written "contact us" messages aren't replied to. Absolutely the worst Pharmacy experience ever. This feedback would have been left on their website, however Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy doesn't have a feedback link.

I usually experience great customer service at this 116th Street location. However, as of lately there’s a new young lady with a bad attitude working there. I’ve had 2 interactions with her and each were the same. It’s persuaded me to change my pharmacy which is unfortunate. Walgreens has been my pharmacy for years and it’s in the community.

Saddened they took over Bioscrypt many yrs ago. Left them after being told I could bury & put extra pills in dirt, instead of them having a system of accepting unopened bottles of meds to support those in need across the globe. Been at New London since then and ADORE them!

This pharmacy called my cellphone and left a message about a prescription pick up sent over by my parent’s doctor. Apparently only this specialty pharmacy can fill this script. My elderly parent lives in another borough from this Walgreens. I called Walgreens, explained the situation, verified the script, and patient details. The pharmacist told me I could have it delivered to my parent’s home within two days free of charge. I made payment and got tracking info by email. I am so grateful this Walgreens rep was able to provide a solution so my elderly parent did not have to commute on public transit for over 1 hour to get this prescription. Walgreens has retained my loyalty as a customer. Excellent customer service at this location.

My GPS led me here in a round about way. I'd been trying to get to a full service store, but because I was right across the street at the start of my journey I was led here, by way of walking to 7th Avenue. Crazy! That was the fault of Google GPS.
