Walgreens Specialty Pharmacy

Absolutely terrible. I tried to move my prescription from my regular location to this location. It was a whole entire process and thank goodness the lady on the phone was kind. Then, I wasn’t able to get the prescription before 5pm, so I called to ask them to transfer it. I don’t know who I was talking to but she didn’t know what she was talking about. She said I could just to another walgreens to get my medication, I didn’t need to transfer it or anything. So i go to a third walgreens and the girl THERE tells me that’s not how it works and this specialty walgreens needed to drop the order… and they never did. So now im without my medication for another 2 days. Never using this walgreens again.

I can not express enough how amazing this pharmacy is!! I was recommended by my Dr to get a high demand prescription that I've been struggling trying to find and to my surprise Community Walgreens in Ann Arbor had it! They were extremely friendly, knowledgeable and kind in facilitating getting this prescription to me. They informed me about a copay card that saved me money and shipped the medication to me for free. I was astonished on how incredible and helpful they were from the assistant to the pharmacist! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

very polite and friendly but this is not the only reason I write this review. They go above and beyond to get me discount on my medication and save me a lot. They work on it for almost a day back and fort with insurance to resolve the issue. highly recommended.

It’s weird to say this about a Walgreens, but there is no better pharmacy in town. Everything you hate about a normal pharmacy experience doesn’t exist here. It’s easy to get someone on the phone. They know how to navigate insurance issues. I’ve never seen a line. They will mail you prescriptions if you want. Everyone you talk to seems extraordinarily competent. I don’t know if all the best people wind up here or there is something about being a pharmacy only without the rest of the Walgreens that gives them an advantage but it’s obviously different than an average Walgreens. My doctor recommended this pharmacy because they tend to have things I need in stock but I’ve switched everything over because it’s so god damn pleasant. We always have great service. The pharmacy is well staffed and knowledgeable. My wife is transgender and the pharmacy was able to update her profile with her preferred name before her name change was official. We always are treated respectfully and my wife appreciates that she is not misgendered or dead named. We had terrible service at the CVS across the street when we asked then to note her Pronouns and name in their system. Thank you!!!!
