Walgreens Pharmacy

Walgreens filled my prescription by only giving me half the doses of what my doctor prescribed. Then when I went to get a refill their system said that it was too soon to get a refill. It has a way for you to write to them to explain why they should refill it "early", which I filled out, but they never responded. Having missed one dose I called to get the prescription refilled. They told me they would have it ready the next day after 10am. I went in the next day but in the afternoon. They hadn't filled it and told me to come back after at least an hour. I went back when I was able to, but it was more like 3 hours later. They had closed early that day. They hadn't warned me that they were closing early, which would have been nice to know. So, again I couldn't get my prescription!

It’s definitely time to switch pharmacies. The commercials boasting about how helpful their pharmacists are, are clearly just a marketing gimmick to get your business. In reality, the pharmacist and techs here are far from helpful. I’ve witnessed them being unprofessional, and I’ve overheard multiple customers expressing frustration while waiting for their prescriptions. They will give you a time to come back for your meds, but when you return, they are not ready and they’re rude when you ask about it. More than once, I’ve been told they don’t have our prescription, even after my doctor has already sent it in. The pharmacist that was working 2/4/25 during the morning was very helpful and nice. He helped me with a Covid/influenza test and helped with a concern. I think he cares about the public’s health. Walgreens has a great pharmacist at this location. Thank you!

I've been going to Walgreens for several years. They've always been great. But I'm an easy customer (and provide them plenty of business. Lol.). I switched to them during COVID when Smiths closed their drive thru and their lines were insane. Fast forward to today, when I actually had a few questions and kept them on the phone for longer than 2 minutes. I had a new Rx, and the tech got snippy with me because I asked a few clarifying questions and "no, mam"ed me as if I was the most annoying/pushy patient in the world. All I did was ask THREE questions, and got that tone. And then I could tell she was done helping me or answering any further questions. Super unimpressed. I’ve been using this Walgreens to fill my prescription for over a year then all of a sudden, the pharmacist says he won’t fill my prescription anymore because my doctor is from out of state without any warning or time to look for a new doctor. The past year it hasn’t been a problem. Nobody said anything to me about this.
