I visited this office at 37 weeks pregnant after being referred by my midwife for severe sciatic pain. As a first-time patient for this facility and someone already feeling physically vulnerable late in pregnancy, I was hopeful for professional, supportive care. While the physical adjustment itself was fine, I was extremely uncomfortable with comments that were sexual in nature as suggestions for my husband and I. These comments felt highly inappropriate in this specific medical setting and as a pregnant woman already navigating body changes and vulnerability, this made me feel uncomfortable and disrespected rather than supported.
