Walgreens Pharmacy

I used to really like this pharmacy. However starting sometime around the beginning of 2024 they started filling most prescriptions from a central location, I believe in the Boston area. That means You can't get your prescription filled quickly because they do not have it on hand at this location. Many times they don't know when your prescription is going to come in and we'll just keep saying it will be here tomorrow when they really have no idea. Most of the people that work at this pharmacy are friendly and professional. It's what's going on at the corporate level and decisions made at corporate that have made dealing with this pharmacy a highly unsatisfactory experience.

If you are thinking of switching to this pharmacy, you need to know this. Make sure you never need to reach the pharmacy by phone and actually speak to someone, grab a snack and a cup of coffe cause its gonna be a while. you may, like me, have to call back a number of times because you could get disconnected. This will be an Every time you call experience. And by all means NEVER ask why that is because you will get snapped at by a woman who never seems to be having a good day. So if you will never need to call this pharmacy. Then you should be fine. This has been my experience.

According to my FSA card carrier, OTC products are covered but they are rejected at the cash register when I try to pay with the FSA card. The Card Carrier says this is because Walgreens doesn't enter the OTC codes into their cash register system. This means that the customer has to make an extra step and submit the receipt as a claim instead of the convenience of paying at the register

I had to take a moment and write this review simply because I cannot express enough the gratitude I have for the amazing pharmacist working at this location. For years Adam has gone above and beyond in helping myself and my family. Whether it be catching a potentially toxic interaction previously unseen from medications prescribed by doctors, giving heartfelt advice to a terrified new mom dealing with her child’s first cold, or simply answering the one million and two questions I typically have any time I call or walk in. I give my sincerest thanks to this wonderful man and his fantastic team for always being there with caring guidance and an unbelievable knowledge bank to boot. My favorite one stop shop!!! Pharmacy is great as well!!most of the staff is very friendly besides one cashier with long blonde hair shes a snooty lillte attitude having young lady!! Shes been there a while idk how, however i could do with out her ... i deff avoid her if possible .. il have to chexk her name tag next visit. Other then that i love this place!!
