Walgreens Pharmacy

The staff is friendly for the most part, but that’s really the only good thing I can say about this pharmacy. It always takes them at least a full 24 hours to fill a prescription, which is very unfortunate because I’ve had to go a full day without my meds because of this. Also, they run out of meds frequently so you’ll have to get a partial script and come back hoping not to have to wait a full day again when you need the rest of your script. Obviously very understaffed.

I waited in the drive up for 1/2 am hour and when I got to the window they closed the window on me because it was 6:00pm. I waited for 30 min in line with one more person behind me. I pulled around and went in to get my med where there was one person waiting where they couldn’t find him in the system. She then Looks at me and says they are closed and I explained to them I was waiting in line for 1/2 an hour and she said ‘That’s not how it works we close at 6:00.’ We will be transferring to another pharmacy this is ridiculous! Terrible customer service. If I am in line you wait on me and others until that line is done!

Staff is friendly when picking up prescriptions but that is about the only thing they have going for them. When trying to call about a prescription the computer answering is terrible and I was on hold for over 15 min. And this is after waiting for 3 weeks for new prescription. I don't know if this is because of insurance but it would be nice if they would let a person know what is the hold up.

I had one of the worst experiences that has left me without my medication here and was treated rudely by staff. My medication was approved with a PA, I was told to come in by both the pharmacist and the automated machine. Upon arrival, lo and behold I cannot access my medications because they don’t have the PA as previously stated. The staff there very rudely said, “yes well it’s available, but you would have to pay $1,300 out of pocket. Do you understand.” Not only did I have to ask the same question about 10 times for her to understand, she was unable to create valid reasoning behind the decision. The manager who came afterwards, the operations manager, Mimir stated they are unable to contact patients when there is any difficulty with a prescription or insurance. Well to be more specif

My experience with this Walgreens has declined dramatically over the past few years. My last day of using them is today. They claimed to a doctor that we requested a 90-day script when we hadn’t. Further, they were rude towards us when they lacked enough medication for a 90-day fill, gave us 30-days, and then proceeded to be unkind when we came back for a full refill because a discount card would only take a 90-day script. I’m disappointed in how inconsistent and inconsiderate our treatment has gotten over time. If you make frequent trips or have complicated med lists, I recommend taking your business elsewhere.
