Walgreens Pharmacy

I had a 1:00 PM appointment scheduled today for a flu shot, confirmed by Walgreens through text reminder. I arrived on time and was told to come back 30 minutes later because the appointment was “too close to their lunch time.” It’s unprofessional to offer appointment times you don’t intend to honor. But worse when you lie to loyal customers. After leaving, I called the pharmacy and spoke with two employees Landon then Michael, who claimed no one was ever scheduled at 1 PM despite the fact that I received an official confirmation reminder. Instead of acknowledging the mistake, they denied it, which is dishonest and irresponsible. If Walgreens can’t honor scheduled appointments or at least take accountability it’s frustrating and a waste of time for customers.

Super friendly, but no follow through. One pharmacy didn't have my pain medication and told me to ask another to call for prescription transfer. Did that and was told it would be 1.5 hours. Sent partner to pick-up 2.5 hours later after work and they didn't have any record of it. Said the other pharmacy never answered for multiple tries. Partner called the other one, got through immediately and heard they had missed no calls. Now waiting another hour for it to be filled and in terrible pain. Normally go to Sigler's (old Medical Arts), but it was after their hours and need these now. Will definitely stick with them and away from the chains from now on.

This is by far my favorite pharmacy in town, and there's even another one that stays open 24/7😎

I had a wonderful employee help me this morning. Normally when it says my insurance denies coverage for medication, workers just get frustrated and ask me to pay full price instead of taking an extra minute to look it over again (because that’s typically the case). This usually happens at every pharmacy I go to. But today the employee took extra time to look over insurance information again and then find a coupon as well to help me get a reasonable price for my medication. This is my only positive experience with a pharmacy since I started taking medications 10+ years ago. I wish I could get this employee every time. I’m normally exhausted from anxiety about being able to afford healthcare so it was just a blessing to have someone nice at the pharmacy for once. They deserve recognition.
