Walgreens Pharmacy in Kinston, North Carolina, is the kind of place that makes picking up your prescriptions feel like a friendly neighborhood visit instead of an errand! Let me say this to not give a heads up on being closed on Saturdays...unprofessional. CVS called all day yesterday because per your pharmacy 2 out of my 6 prescriptions I have been filling there you/my ins is won't do!!! Great there for my BP.

They have technicians there that cant seem to give you a accurate pick up date for meds and poor attitude and they changed there hours from 9 to 9:30 for whatever the reason and they have no problem judging patients about meds and there time frame for one prescription they say it will take hour or more its ridiculous all the other walgreens pharmacy are open by 8am and they just seem to change there hours which makes no sence and there are people there with nasty attitudes and there will be some i will and would recommend calling corporate on them...and they open later and close early never open on weekends in my opinion they need to do away with that location and the pharmacy

Went to get a refill on a prescription. They said it would be done in 30 minutes went back 30 minutes later and the other employee looking on her register said it's going to take 45 minutes. I told her I was told 35 minutes ago 30 minutes. Needless to say it was filled. Make sure you have them check physically instead of going by the register.

Called Wednesday and asked if my meds were on hand so u could my response as scheduled. Im on a patch not all carry. The technician said she noted my file and it would be available on thursday. I call at 330 Thursday. My main meds (pain) weren't filled. Patch had to be ordered and the pills weren't filled until I called. Got my rx 15 minutes before they closed and yet to have heard anything on my patches. Don't know what the problem is at this store but my regular walgreens closed and moved to a further location. I am a disabled vet and rely on the pain meds to even mive..also..going back and forth for meds gets expense in gas, time.
