Walgreens Pharmacy

Had an appointment for the flu vaccine today and came in about 30mins early. As a registered nurse of almost 8 years, I expected a pharmacy to have at least the bare minimum of hand hygiene. Joseph(Pharmacist tech) came out with an orange bag, needle sharps container and the flu vaccine in a brown container. We went into a small cubicle and he immediately started to don gloves. I politely asked him to perform some type of hand hygiene such as: hand sanitizer and he refused. He stated, “I’ve already washed my hands so I don’t need to use hand sanitizer.” He had to dig in several drawers in the cubicle to find hand sanitizer and still refused to use it. He claimed, “I’ll find someone else to come do your flu vaccine instead.” About 10mins later, Kasey, who Joseph(Joey) introduced as “manager

2024 UPDATE: This pharmacy location is kind of hit or miss as to whether or not your prescriptions will be ready. I'd say it's about 80/20 with them being ready. I strongly believe that the fault causing the inconsistency lies in their mobile app. Sometimes the refill requests submitted via the app don't actually get pushed through to the pharmacy (per the pharmacy technician we spoke to last time). Not really sure why that is or how it happens, but they seem to just get lost in the ether. *shrug* Other times the app will show that you have prescriptions ready to pick up, but you get to the pharmacy and they're not there. This is really unfortunate, because the easy refill requests not requiring you to actually call and wait half an hour on hold to request your medications one at a time is

This pharmacy is horrible. They are grossly understaffed. We dropped off the prescription at 5:45 and was told it would be the next day before it was ready (they close at 8:00). What pharmacy cannot get a prescription ready in 2 hours?? This store needs to staff properly for such a busy store and teach some simple Customer Service edicate.

This place is unreal. Every prescription I have I run out of month to month. Either they don’t have it filled,forgot,or in the process of filling. Of course I get calls 2x a day saying it’s ready. Drive thru is always backed up. Staff seems to just be in a daze when you ask questions. I don’t understand what’s so complicated about communication.
