Extremely Disappointing Experience & Unprofessional Treatment at Walgreens – Nutley Street, Fairfax, VA I rarely write reviews, but today’s experience at this Walgreens was so unprofessional and mishandled that I feel compelled to share it. On February 27, 2026, my wife and I went to the Nutley Street Walgreens because I needed to purchase 31G syringes for my prescribed Ozempic medication. I called ahead to ask about availability, and staff on the phone were hesitant, dismissive, and made me feel like I was being questioned unnecessarily for a legitimate medical need. Place was very clean. Pharmacists are very nice, helpful and knowledgeable. This location also has a huge selection for other goods than I think you typically see in most Walgreens or pharmacy type stores. I got some protein bars, shampoo, hairspray, some body lotions, some medicines and 5 copies of photos. They have special deals for members. We can Order photos online and pick up the same day. Rewards for members, Every dollar you spend you will get 1000 points. The maximum redemption per eligible transaction will be 5000 points ($5 reward).

Filled medications incredibly slow. I am out of my medication before they fill it. Their hours also are not as good as surrounding pharmacies. Do yourself a favor and switch to one of the many pharmacies near this Walgreens.

Older Asian lady serving vaccinations was extremely rude. Goodness - better not to be in a client-facing role.

Always helpful, courteous and competent pharmacy staff. Easy parking.
