I recently consulted with Dr. Vargas and his staff for my medical condition and he is truly top notch!! The most Professional, compassionate, and caring doctor you will ever meet. He was extremely thorough in explaining the condition, statistics and various treatment plans. I truly wish all providers were this way and especially for a very difficult diagnosis he is truly phenomenal!! I am looking forward to him handling my medical care in the near future in addition to the rest of his A-Team to Include Theresa K., Surgical nurse navigator. She expeditiously scheduled all of my follow up testing and was also so compassionate and helpful during this process. Thank you to everyone❤️

I was in your shoes this past summer (2025) when I found myself as a newly diagnosed, scared, and uninformed breast cancer patient. I was looking for anything or anyone to bring peace and comfort in a very scary and unknown time in my life. Navigating a serious diagnosis at a young age is very scary. The wonderful care team at VCS, specifically Dr. Vargas, Mary and Theresa are so genuine and caring. It is like they immediately become a part of your family. This is a very challenging time with a long road ahead and I am very grateful to have them by my side.

I am beyond grateful to have had Dr. Vargas as part of my cancer treatment team. He is an invaluable physician who truly cares, listens, and takes the time to ensure his patients feel supported. His surgical skills are phenomenal, and his precision and professionalism are always on point. We are so fortunate to have someone of his caliber in our area. I cannot recommend him highly enough.
