Walgreens Pharmacy

I have had multiple oral surgeries since November to include a tooth extraction last Thursday which my stitches came undone and when I requested the active valid refill to be filled the pharmacist refused to fill it and told me I needed a new prescription even though my refill is valid throughout the year. Then after visiting the doctor again to get a new prescription the pharmacist refused to fill that telling my doctor she's not comfortable giving it to me. Then when I asked the pharmacist why after she told me to get a new prescription she still is refusing to fill it she just lied to me and said they don't have it in stock. Which is not what she told my doctor because my doctor was confused as to why the pharmacist would refuse to fill. Never coming to this pharmacy again.

Long delay in filling prescriptions , if you need it the day the doctor sends it over , I suggest calling and letting them know you need it now .Usually not ready until next day .

An improper prescription protocol required the pharmacist to call the doctor to verify. I only informed the pharmacist and her assistant of what the doctor gave me to present. After speaking with the doctor I was aggressively informed that the prescription would not be allowed again unless the doctor complied with correct protocols. I did not appreciate the tone of voice from either the pharmacist or her assistant. They made me feel that I was the one at fault. I am changing to another Walgreens after many years at the Mayport road location. I realize this location has a lock on Fleet Landing and probably doesn’t care about one dissatisfied customer, but this treatment of customers is unacceptable and inexcusable. Went to the drive through. Was behind another vehicle for 5 min. Got there at 545pm. Got to window at 550pm and the lady said were closed. I asked what time do you close she said 6pm. I said it's not 6 yet still have 10 min. She said by the time I get you prescription filled out it will be 6pm. She said I needed to go across town. The pharmaceutical guy said right. I could not hear her due to double ear infections. And her wearing a mask using a phone. I told my wife . She called the other Walgreens they were closed. I walked in 5 after 6 and the pharmaceutical hands me a print out. When all said and done .its all could of been done and and out door by 6. Andy is pharmacist and britney additude.
