Customer Reviews
Today, a pharmacist reprimanded a pharmacy tech, repeatedly, within earshot of customers. I understand that pharmacists probably are not trained in employee supervision, but it clearly was inappropriate to have this conversation in public, and did not seem necessary to repeat the phrase "you are the only one ..." three times during the reprimand. For what it's worth, the pharmacy technician was professional and friendly with me, and appeared to be doing her best to remedy a situation involving the pharmacy not having a full supply of the medication readily available. I'm grateful for the work of the technician and the manager in resolving this situation.
The pharmacy staff at the Jackson Rd Walgreens are so unwelcoming and not in the least bit friendly. This behavior is fairly consistent. Are they instructed to act this way? Good grief! I so miss the sweet staff at the Rite Aid on Plymouth Rd.
I like the products available to purchase. Although, after purchasing, I found a two $15.00 products for $10.00 the same day at a different store. In addition, The cash register employee was just as unpleasant as the first time I encountered her. >:(
For an unknown reason I was kicked off auto refill for seizure meds. They said ‘you must’ve never been on auto refill’, nope 5yrs on autofill with this pharmacy. They said ‘they must be new meds or dosing’, nope 10 yrs on the same meds and dosing. They don’t have the pill I need to most in stock, we ‘should’ be able to get it tomorrow. This isn’t the first time this has happened. No taking responsibility, they tried to put it on me, and certainly offered no apology for the inconvenience for their system error. If I can’t get meds and had a seizure, who’s liable? That’s my question. Try to find a local pharmacy, look at their reviews, they’re excellent by comparison. Walgreens and CVS just don’t care and there’s zero accountability.
Some of the staff are very nice; I don’t blame them for the ordering issues. One of the advantages of using Walgreens is that I can travel out of state/town and get my refills or medication history in the app. I guess they have too large of an area to serve. This Walgreens never have my medication in order for me not to run out. One is a controlled substance so I can only call it in 2 days in advance, but it takes 4-5 days to get it filled. I miss medication like this. I’ve already moved one medication to Meijer’s and guess I need to move this one too. Hopefully, it provides some relief to others.
