Walgreens

I picked up my medication from the Walgreens in Madison. This medication is meant to be taken by mouth only if necessary, and I usually take it only when I travel abroad, especially to countries where spicy food is common. However, when I got home, I discovered that the medication expires on the exact date I am leaving for another country, which is a little less than two months from now. I called the pharmacy and asked if they could replace it with one that has a longer shelf life. They agreed to refill it but said I would have to pay again. I don’t think this is fair, because it wasn’t my fault that they provided medication that was about to expire.

The staff in this Walgreens is always very pleasant and helpful. Today I was assisted by a lovely young woman named Mary. I truly appreciated her kindness and patience with me when I needed help in selecting a few items. Also, I recently started using their photo service and am very pleased with the cost and convenience of this service.

They enforce the “early fill” rule down to the day but when that 30 days point hits, it takes them DAYS to fill it, most likely leaving you without meds. Good luck calling the store, they will leave you hold for 15-20min & then hang up. Support small pharmacies

I don't think I've EVER had my meds available to me when I've shown up. They're never ready, always on order, always gotta show up another day, and it takes absolutely forever just to tell me that much.

Drive-thru pharmacy has no problem leaving you waiting while they go about their normal duties.
