Vons Pharmacy

Your pharmacy sucks and the one in Grover Beach is way better. I never would have come here if the Grover beach pharmacy could have provided what I needed. I will not be returning!

Updating this review. The last two visits have included 15-minute waits for prescriptions. Seems like the location is understaffed, although everyone is still friendly. Previous review: Great place for vaccine shots and prescriptions. Very friendly pharmacists. Just got a vaccination, and only took about 5 minutes. You get a 10% off groceries coupon with each order, so it’s a great deal. Sometimes the lines to pick up a prescription can be a little long, but at least there is a Starbucks in Vons right next to the pharmacy. If you call in a prescription, they usually have it ready in a few hours.

We love them, like one. Overall, outstanding experiences. They are great and compassionate with my elderly mama. They work with us, and bend over backwards to get her needs met. She has to do a mix of GoodRx, Medicare Part D, and cash for her prescriptions. They help us get the best price every time. Will, thank you for all you do for mama. I appreciate you good sir!

This was an extremely disappointing experience. Pharmacist refused to fill my prescriptions because it was 33 minutes until closing. He said he couldn't guarantee he could fill them by closing because someone else might come and need prescriptions too. There was no one else waiting. He told me to go to CVS instead, CVS was closed and I told him that. I needed the antibiotics and painkillers for my daughter that evening. I was absolutely shocked that he wouldn't do it. He didn't care. He didnt want to get off his chair and work. I drove across town to Rite Aid and they filled in 20 minutes AND they were extremely kind.

The staff are very careful with HIPPA controlled client information. Their attitude is very professional as well as friendly. I really appreciate the staff taking time to learn my name and a few things about me. It’s very much a small neighborhood feeling.
