Vons Pharmacy

This is my neighborhood pharmacy. I go here because it is very convenient to my home. They are usually busy but no long lines. I recently had my flu and pneumonia vaccines here. They have a private room where they give the vaccines. I get prescriptions filled, and the price is reasonable.

In downscale shopping center where there are traffic and parking difficulties. Gave up when could or would not transfer in a prescription because of 3 different times asking how to spell the doctor's name and never doing anything.

The pharmacy here is so great! The employees are very kind and helpful. Somehow always cheery and patient. This is the best pharmacy I've tried in North County. I wish I knew the names I'd like to specifically call out. Edited to fix spelling.

Worse customer service ever. I talked to the staff about getting my Covid medication delivered and the rep indicated they can't confirm delivery until they have the prescription but they should as I'm in the area. They just delivered groceries that morning. Once they get the prescription THEN she tells me the delivery time is one to two days for this prescription. I asked if it were a different prescription it would be delivered same day?? She backtracked and said no. If she would have just told me that the first time I talked to her, I would not have sent the prescription there. Now I have to call my doctor and reroute. Total incompetence and lack of customer service.

Regularly does not have routine medications in stock. Understaffed. Consistently waits to fill prescriptions until you arrive, when they have had hours to fill. Poor customer service by senior staff. Limited hours of operation. Good for long term medications that they can handle at their own pace.
