Voices in Bloom Speech Therapy

We’ve had a wonderful experience with Jamie. She is patient, knowledgeable, detailed and great with kids. She connects with my son (8 years old) via games and conversation while still keeping the sessions structured, productive, and fun. My son looks forward to his sessions, and we’ve seen real progress in both speech and confidence. She also gives helpful tips for practicing at home. We’re so grateful we found her!

My 11 year old daughter has been receiving group speech services at school since kindergarten but was feeling self conscious about her progress. Her goals include pragmatics and articulation - she felt good about how the pragmatics were being handled at school but she felt like articulation was making social situations harder. We decided to ask the school to continue to focus on pragmatics but work with a speech pathologist privately to address articulation. I reached out to Jamie for an assessment. She listened to our situation and helped me understand how she can collaborate with our IEP team. She listened to my daughter's specific concerns - making friends is hard, and struggling to be understood makes it even harder. Jamie helped us prioritize goals that would best address my daughter

Our daughter has been working with Jamie for a couple years now and it has been a wonderful experience. We moved an hour away and being able to continue services using zoom has been so nice! Jamie is kind and patient and truly has a knack for reading our child's energy, mood and needs. She is flexible and capable of making on the spot accomodations in each and every session to keep things fun, entertaining and productive. We are beyond words grateful to have Jamie as part of our daughter's team!

Jamie is excellent! She's created a safe, welcoming environment where our daughter is able to express herself which has been a huge help in her speech development. Would definitely recommend Jamie to anyone looking for speech help with their child.
