I needed a letter from the VA doctor to continue my reasonable accommodation for my job by the end of August, 2025. I had an appointment on August 26. A few days before the appointment the clinic canceled the appointment. When I called to reschedule and explained the urgent need of this letter there was silence. I finally reschedule to September 8. During the appointment I explained the urgent need of this letter as the lack of it would worsen my service connected disabilities and affect my job. The doctor said that he will complete and send it to me via the VA app in a couple of days. I follow up via the VA app and then I am told that such requests take about 20 days. What is the point of a clinic who cannot deliver on its promise. Mind you, this is a renewal of previously issued accommo
Staff was welcoming and treated me as a person. Doctor was very nice and was concerned with my health and well being. This clinic is a great addition to the community and saves me from driving to DC for primary care. This building is across the street from Great Mills High School.
I'm from out of state, my house burned in a wildfire so I don't have an ID. The lady at the front desk was very sweet and helped me get some paperwork so I'd have proof of coverage for my trip. I wanted to walk back in to tell her how great she is but decided not to since I thought I might have covid. Hopefully she sees this because she's awesome and the VA needs more people like her.
The medical center is new . The VA clinic is on the 3rd floor. The elevator button is located on the on the elevator not that visible. When you get to the 3rd floor you have scan to take covid 19 questionnaire before you check in with the nurse . Get there 15-20 minutes early to get these things done . If you are 15 minutes late you will not be seen.
Zero stars, this is a VA clinic that is removing the mural of the president that freed the slaves, I for one will never step foot in there again! VA is free and it still costs too much stop calling me!
