VCA Old Marple Animal Hospital

I cannot recommend this hospital enough. I recently had to take my cat in for an emergency visit and received phenomenal care. Outside of them being the only place open on a Sunday, the staff/doctors here were incredibly kind and provided us with amazing treatment for our cat. You can tell they really care about the animals they’re looking after. Highly highly highly recommend!!!

I recently switched my kitty here since we moved close by, and everyone was so kind and professional and took great, gentle care of my cat during her yearly visit. Maeve says thank you for her dental homecare goodie bag! 😺

Absolutely terrible. DON’T take your pet here. They are not professional at all. We went here for years and are so glad we made the switch to another vet. There are many vets here who are EXTREMELY rude (especially the emergency vets), and one time I got two prescriptions for my dogs (steroids and antibiotics) and they MIXED the pills. I was LIVID. All they said was sorry. (And btw they charge you to fill those bottles) so I basically paid for them to almost harm my dog because their incompetent staff mixed the pills. Thank God I noticed. They didn’t even refund the charge for “filling” the pills. It’s laughable really. I will never take my dog here again and I encourage everyone to not take their pets here. There are so many more professional vets in the area. Also they are WAY overpriced

Went as emergency as cat was not urinating. Understood I had to pay $206 for emergency but at end had to pay total $816. Mind you i'm a senior citizen on fixed income. My pet was given methadone to relieve pain liquid injections for hydration something else a cream that lasts 4 days for pain and prescriptio gabapentin for pain. A urine sample was done to determine bacteria or infection. Discharged and then was encouraged to buy special urinary food and additional 8.00. Was told result would be back the next day which was yesterday 12/16/25 with final report via email. Nothing was sent only an email after we left office on 12/15/25 offering 50.00 off the next er visit. Still waiting for report. Also when I left o. 12/15 was told if cat stopped urinating completely bring back immed
