The staff is professional, knowledgeable and personable. I had sclerotherapy. Everything that was being done was explained thoroughly. If you have vein problems, I highly recommend Vascular Institute of Virginia.

Reporting on behalf of my Husband Mark Carpenter - the staff was very pleasant & helpful - Dr Shah gave us an overview of my husband’s situation prior to the removal of the catheter - told him what he could expect etc - flawless process!!!

My first visit with this practice. The staff were professionals and most courteous. They were apologetic about my delayed interview as my doctor had a procedure run long. The doctor was quite pleasant and also apologetic, but made up for it in his quite thorough review of what the test results revealed and his prognosis that I had no vascular health issues to address. The office made a great first impression across the board. I will use them again.

I had to get a medical port put in and everyone was very nice and professional. Doctor and nurses explained everything as they were doing the procedure assuring I was ok. I highly recommend them!

The staff was very professional yet friendly. They knew I was nervous about having a procedure and went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and well cared for. I received several calls after the procedure from the nurses to check on me to see how I was doing. I am thankful for the wonderful experience I had at the Vascular Institute of VA, Fairfax.
