My daughter had a recent surgery (tonsillectomy) exactly a week before seeing Dr Valeria. Each day after her surgery she was having more and more pain with barely being able to open her mouth. It seemed that she had jaw pain. I called niklaus children’s hospital and spoke with the ENT office in where she had her surgery and they proceeded to tell me “jaw pain is not their department so I need to call my daughters pcp”. I was taken aback and somewhat disgusted at the level of empathy that they showed towards my daughters pain and a worried mother. I then proceeded to call her doctors office (pediatric associates) and they stated that her doctor isn’t available until July 11 but there was an opening after hours yesterday at 5:15 pm with Dr Valeria. I went ahead and took the appointment and

Dr Munguia was extremely sweet, professional and knowledgeable attending to the needs of my granddaughter. She was very patient and soothing. Great doctor!
