VA Medical Center

I have been hospitalized 3 times in the last 2 months for abdominal pain. I have been to the UNC hospital, WakeMed and Duke hospitals. All of which wanted to give me opioids and send me on my way. None wanted to find out what my problem was until I went to the VA hospital in Durham. I was extremely fortunate to have a team of doctors that worked very hard to figure out what was causing my pain and help me got me feeling better than I have in months. Thanks to the team of doctors and nurses I am able to go home and play with my kids with out pain.

The medical and clinical professionals are top of their game. If you are a combat veteran they won't kill you, they just won't break into a sweat trying to save you. VAMC Durhams mission statement is If they (unfortunately die), we save money " Beware of trusting your PC

Today is about my fifth or so visit to the Durham VAMC. The staff has always been very helpful, professional and wonderful to interact with. Keep up the good work.

Dogs in a hospital is very very very unsanitary,!! people with allergies are affected by dog hair, dog dandruff, flying dog hairs , a hospital is a clean environment , dogs should not be in the hospital at all. Dogs are unclean and are a health risk to some patients. These dogs like beast more than dogs .

I'm a handicapped person in my scooter went out I had to push it over a mile to the hospital but I got there I passed out on the floor in the emergency room they let me stay in there at 3 or 4 hours then put me out at the police put me out told me to leave the property and they want to make sure I leave the property like I had committed a crime I asked him that I committed a crime he said no we just were told to make sure you leave the property the races social worker told me I'm going to put me out because he didn't like my response to a question but he was asking me to pay for my scooter to be repaired
