Uvalde Memorial Hospital

My dad was recently a patient in Uvalde Memorial ICU for a few days. While unfortunately, he passed away, the professional efforts and quality of care he received during his stay was exceptional. Additionally, the kindness and thoughtfulness of all of the staff, especially nurse Tyler and aid Tony helped the family support dad, through his final hours. The visiting hospitalist (from Canada) was the most humble, educated and kind doctor we've worked with. Please hire him. We also had the opportunity to work with Dr. Sosa and the incredible Hospice staff. Additionally, for a small town hospital, we were amazed at the all new state of the art equipment and how immaculately clean the facility is. Thank you, Uvalde Memorial for your exceptional care for my dad.

I am currently a patient at the wound care clinic overseen by Dr. Stypko and his staff of nurses. I have been in several hospitals recently and the treatment I received in Uvalde is the best by far. Dr. Stypko treats all his patients with great professionalism and is relentless in healing their wounds. His example inspires his team of nurses to treat all patients with the same professionalism, care, and kindness. They are patient, pay attention to detail, and excel in assisting their patients. In my humble opinion, the wound care team at this hospital is second to none in Texas. The hospital is great Doctor's an the nurses are the the best physical an occupational are the best also i was there for 4 days made me feel welcomed an im not even from Uvalde keep up the good work.

Terrible experience there and after. it's been 2 months since I left there hospital and I am still receiving bills that are from 3 different contractors. It seems like there is no organization.

Waited 3 hours in the ER waiting room with gallbladder pain. Nurse told me to go to Hondo cause they had no rooms, yet people who got there after me were getting checked before!
