BEWARE: If you must use UTMB, and they give you Dr. Khan take someone with you. This doctor is a totally different person in front of people than she is behind that door. Other than Dr. Khan and her nurse (also scares me) the rest of the staff have always been really nice and I have ALWAYS gotten along really well with them. After several years of using this location, I won't be returning to the clinic after two visits with this doctor and one encounter with her nurse.

I received the least thorough skin check that I have ever had. Skin cancer, specifically melanoma, has occurred in my family, so I was expecting a whole body skin check as I have received by my dermatologist in my home state. My skin was barely looked at. I shouldn't have to tell a dermatologist how to do their job. A thorough skin check should consist of the individual taking all of their clothing off, having the individual lie down with a gown on if the individual is not comfortable having all of their entire body exposed at the same time, and the doctor should carefully examine the entire body.
