Utah Speech Therapy - Payson

Alissa is so wonderful. Personal, warm, loving, and so knowledgeable. My daughter’s speech improved significantly over our time with Alissa, and she has no lingering speech issues. Alissa was really good about helping me understand what the problems were and how to correct them, which made it easier for me to help my daughter at home. I’ve recommended Utah’s Communication Connection to friends, and my niece currently sees a therapist here as well. I’d recommend Alissa and her team to anyone who is concerned about making speech therapy a positive and successful experience.

We love Utah's Communication Connection! She was fun and engaging for my son and made a huge difference. He had both speech and language deficiencies and we knew we needed to help our son quickly before it hurt other areas of his education. Choosing Alyssa to help was the answer! She taught him well and I was also able to comfortably watch the sessions from the other room which allowed my son to not be distracted by me and most importantly, it allowed me to learn more about how I could help him at home. I highly recommend them!

My son started speech therapy services at age two through the state. Unfortunately, he turned three a month after quarantine began. The school system did nothing to help him for the following four months until school began in the fall. He received speech services at preschool that year, but everyone wore masks and I saw little to no progress in his speech. When summer came, I was told my son did not qualify for summer services even though he was below 4% when they tested him. I decided to take it into my own hands and found Miss Alissa and Miss Madison. They were incredible with my son!! When we first started with them he was four years old and couldn’t even say his name. After 1.5 years of their services, he is finished with speech completely and thriving in Kindergarten! They are miracle

I cannot recommend Utah’s Communication Connection enough! I had a four year old with a severe speech impairment when I found Miss Alissa and it was the answer to my prayers! The kindness, professionalism and genuine interest shown to my daughter by the therapists she worked with have changed her life immeasurably. My daughters speech has improved, and her confidence has grown by leaps and bounds as well. I now have a bubbly, chatty, eight year old that can express all the wonderful thoughts in her head-and I can thank Alissa and her team for that!

I absolutely love Alissa! She’s so caring and is the best speech teacher! My started speech when he was 2 he was hardly talking, and when he was is it was really hard to understand him. By the time we moved his speech had improved so much!! Her speech room is so cute, my favorite part was that you can watch them working on the tv in another room!! She played games with him while doing his speech which he loved!! Another thing I loved was when I told him we were going to speech he was so excited!! I would highly recommend her to anyone!!
