Urgent Care Lakeville

In and out in 20 minutes—first patient of the day! The nurse and Dr. Mann were incredibly kind to my child and moved quickly without ever feeling rushed. From check-in to prescription, the whole experience was smooth and reassuring. We truly love this place—consistent, caring, and efficient every time.

My fiancé came in to get stitches on his finger after he sliced it open. He consulted with an ER nurse who recommended he go to urgent care to get it stitched up. Upon arrival, the nurse also agreed he needed stitches. When Dr. Randall came into the room, he barely look at the injury, slapped a bandage on it and said he was fine. The bandage didn’t even stay on for 30 minutes. The cut continued to bleed when he got home and now he had to go back to get the bleeding to stop. Very disappointed in how Dr. Randall treated him and will not be coming back.

My children’s primary is in Albert Lea, we live in Lakeville. When my child has urgent needs such as getting hurt during a football game, I brought him to urgent care here rather than going to Albert Lea, big mistake. First, receptionist was not friendly during check in. Secondly, come back to the room waiting for NP to come in, she came in talking so fast not even giving my 10 year old a chance to speak. She was rude and demeaning to him. Was in and out of the room in 60 seconds. Sent him for xray, tech came in to get him just as fast. Healthcare is a field where caring, compassion and love is very much of value, if you don’t have any of those, this is not the field for you. Everyone we crossed paths with in this office today acted as if we were a burden to their day, gosh forbid a child

We won’t ever be using this urgent care again. I felt like more time was taken making sure they had the insurance information to bill me than looking at my 14 month old who fell and hit his face at the park. The doctor and RN were kind enough but when I said “I felt like I wasn’t being listened to, and he seems to be swallowing a lot of blood”, the LPN who was stressing my son out more than anyone else, went on a rant about how she’s a mother and a nurse and she knows better than I do. She handed me some water and made a big deal about him drinking it. Surprise surprise I know my son better than she does and he immediately shoved it away as he was too upset and in pain to take any. She told me that I could leave and go to the ER and wait if I wanted. Absolutely nothing I said warranted a h

I am beyond disappointed at that the PA who attended to my partner. She is Ms.Novotny. Immediately upon her entering the room, she already seemed to show a lack of actual care. My partner was in excruciating pain and told her ahead of time where it was located. She proceeded to lift his leg and ankle in an aggressive manner which caylused him to be in even more pain than when he arrived. She knew that he had visible swelling and pain and chose not to even attempt to use the leg extended that's attached to the exam table to help support his injured leg. I wouldn't recommend her to any of my family or friends if you want kindness, gentleness, or all around a professional experience. People are coming into urgent care because they don't feel well and to be a witness to such horrible treatment
