Urgent Care - Dignity Health Medical Group - Capitola, CA

O2/17/26 I visited Dignity Health Urgent Care in Capitola, CA. I was seen and diagnosed with Pneumonia & RSV by Dr. Wellman & his staff. The office can take XRays and do nasal swabs and order your prescriptions. First come first served no appointments necessary. The entire office staff did an excellent job! Plenty of parking and shopping and McDonalds. I highly recommend this facility.

This was the worst experience I have ever had My mother is in a wheelchair and has dementia. I made sure they could help us before I drove the almost hour in traffic. My mom’s catheter was clogged and so it was urgent that we be seen. We made sure they had everything set. We arrived and checked in. We waited for 45 minutes and a few patients arrived after us(they also sent several away). They had a sign saying they were closing early, I think they had a company function. A woman named Gina Sicalari came up and scolded the girls up front for checking patients in. She told them to send them away. So without care for my elderly mom they sent us away. I went to urgent care in Capitola. They were far more professional and helpful than my Dignity Health PCP. They also followed up 3 days after my visit. My PCP could learn a lesson from these competent, caring and efficient doctors and staff. Thank you urgent care

EVERY time I have needed to go to to Dignity Urgent Care on 41st, EVERY employee, regardless of their job description, has been professional, patient, friendly, understanding, helpful... basically all the positive adjectives. I take care of my mom, almost 90 years young w/dementia, and they always make her feel like a queen, and also communicate w/me in an informative and supportive manner. Do not hesitate to go there, but please remember to be patient and respectful to all the staff as well.

I saw Dr Russo 2 weeks ago and she was very thorough and made sure i had the correct meds for my bronchitis. Today she was equally as thorough making sure my husband was treated with the utmost care. Thank you Dr. Russo for really caring and giving such excellent care!
