Urgent Care at NYU Langone Ambulatory Care West Side

Great experience at Urgent Care. Very fast and efficient, everyone was very nice and helpful. I saw Elizabeth Bailey, PA, she was awesome. SO kind, really listened to all my concerns and very thorough. I did not feel at all rushed by her, she was very patient with me and the things I was worried about. I was much more at ease after seeing her and felt very confident in her assessment and treatments. Very, very pleased overall!

Yea this place is awful. 1st visit: scheduled as a new patient, wanted a doctor ACCEPTING patients. Guy on the phone booked me for a doctor that did NOT accept new patients. Had to cancel WHEN I GOT THERE. 2nd Visit: Was given an NP as my primary provider, she was good but the MA did not ask me to sit after bloodwork and I promptly FAINTED ON THEIR FRONTDESK. They had to strap me on a bed and revive me like I had just died. 3rd visit: unfortunately I was a few minutes late and missed my appt. They kindly rescheduled me but turns out the doctor was actually AWAY during that period. Overall everyone here Is REALLY NICE BUT that’s not enough padding to get screwed over 3 times in a row.

Went to see a doctor back in January with an earache and sore throat, she said to come back in two weeks If it didn't go way, after I said I already had pain for two weeks. I was never going back. I went to an ENT and he said, "They didn't prescribe you anything?" The ENT gave me antibiotics and steroids and it finally went away. So, I had an earache and sore throat for six weeks that could have been handle by NYU urgent care, but instead they bill the Insurance $700.00, which I have to pay $432.00 of - Don't waste your time or money going here.

My daughter went for a lip injury. She was taken quickly, vitals done, and seen by a PA, who barely spoke to her, proceeded to clean the wound with some liquid (didn't say what), left and came back with someone else who looked at my daughter's lip, they both chatted quietly, left and came back with a bottle of lidocaine and were about to stitch her lip without saying a word to us. When asked who she was and what they were doing, the 2nd PA said "I'm Danielle, a PA. She needs a suture". Was she just going to numb and stitch my daughter without saying a word?? No MD there, she advised me to go to the ER to see "plastic". We left. Never had an experience like this in my life!

I had a wonderful experience at this urgent care and would highly recommend going. I went the night before Thanksgiving expecting a long wait time and crowded waiting room, but ended up being seen 15-20 minutes after arriving. The waiting room only had one other person and social distancing was easily done. The staff and Dr. Bertisch were all incredibly professional, compassionate, and efficient. I was in an out in no time and had a prescription ready for me at my pharmacy when I left. The building itself is very updated and nice. I could not have asked for a better experience
