Upstate Dermatology

I’ve been going to Upstate Dermatology for 4 or 5 years. The staff is so pleasant and thorough. Shelly at the front desk is always so sweet and so accommodating to my work schedule. I see Vlad for my yearly exams. He is very thorough, genuine, and always addresses and validates my concerns. Any lab results are followed up in a quick/timely manner, and I have even received some of my results in the past from Vlad personally. Referrals are taken care of quickly as well and don’t leave you feeling stuck in limbo playing phone tag like some other practices can make you feel at times. Overall, I always leave the office with a good, warm feeling. Even if something of concern was found, I know I am good hands. When I am taking a quick glance at the stars on a review, I look to them to represent the quality of care. The providers at this practice deserve 5 stars! The clinical aspect of each appointment for my daughters and me over the past eight years has been excellent. Don't let the front desk's ratings - which are the ire of the negative reviews resulting in a less than perfect rating - confuse you. (I will also note I've never been displeased with them either.)

I had a very unprofessional experience at this office. The PA was extremely rude and did not introduce the assistant to me at all, which made me uncomfortable as a patient. On top of that, I could clearly hear a staff member talking about their sex life while at work. This was completely inappropriate and unprofessional, especially in a medical setting. Patient care and professionalism were seriously lacking, and this behavior should be reported to corporate. I would not recommend this office based on my experience.

I was very impressed with this medical clinic. The staff was very professional and friendly. I came in with a leg rash and the doctor quickly evalulated my condition, reviewed all treatment options, and was able to save me a lot of money for a prescription medication. I highly recommend this clinic.

Very positive experience Once I was called back for my appointment. Tanner was excellent at explaining everything, making sure to answer any of my concerns. Concerns: front desk staff, specifically lady with red hair named Alyssha (not to be confused with Alyssha the back office staff) was very rude from start to finish. When I walked in there were no patients waiting in line so I just asked if this is where I check in. She eventually acknowledged me demanding my ID and insurance card. Very aggressive person. After about ten minutes, she requested that I fill out the paperwork (as I was 20 minutes early for my appointment), which I did.
