2.8 stars is too generous! Never have I seen a hospital who is so unorganized and who doesn't know what they are doing! Everything from the ER to being admitted. Am told one thing from one person and then told something completely opposite in the next breath. Was to be scheduled for a procedure (at another hospital thankfully) but no one knew anything about it. I was told the procedure was at 9:30 and get there at the check in time just to be told it was 3 hours later! Was told it was something so small that no fasting or anesthesia was required, only to get at the other hospital and told I was to fast and to be put under the whole way. I received the best care in the ER. The entire were thorough and knew exactly what was wrong. I didn't have to wait to be seen or wait for my results! Huge shout out of thanks to Dr. Saloon, Justine. Jenna and Nakita from CT. They all did such an outstanding job ..I didn't feel like I was in an emergency room!!! Thank you again!

I just want to say, that it's so easy to focus on the negative, however, I am so grateful for the excellent care I received at the emergency room. I went to emergency room on Feb. 4, 2026. Extreme pain in right side of my back. I could barely breathe. I was seen by a very caring Dr. Albert salooma. I never had a kidney stone and thought that I might have one. When tests showed no kidney stone, Dr. Saloomas said he would figure this out. He certainly did. I had pneumonia and my severe pain was from a blood clot in lower right lung. Dr.Saloomas, thank you so much for not dismissing my pain and getting to the bottom of it. The whole medical staff in that emergency room saved my life. Thank you nurse Debbie. Would rate 0 stars if I could, do not take yourself or any loved ones to this facility. We were referred to UPMC Somerset by our pediatrician for an IV when our son was sick. They almost sent us home without treatment because they couldn’t get the line in. After my wife advocated for our son they eventually provided a nasal injection to help calm him and the IV was provided. Both of these treatments are all of $20 before any insurance adjustments and we just received a bill for 1780 dollars (before adjustments). How on earth do you justify 1760 of additional charges for an IV and nasal injection. Highway robbery and no easy avenue of dispute for the client. Avoid at all costs!

1 star rating is 1 star too many. Had my 6 year old there with a potentially broken foot for x-rays. 3 hours to take an x rays then told should have results within in an hour. After the hour we asked for an eta and was told they don’t have anyone in office to look at the x ray so they don’t know how long it would be. The entire time we were never taken to a room. Nurse said if he wanted, we could leave and check the my chart portal for results. It’s now been 7 hours and no update on the portal. Called the number on the portal and x rays tech said nothing she can do and hung up. Place is absolutely worthless.
