If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband went to have surgery there and from the moment he got there the patient care was less than subpar. His blood sugar dropped out and he sat in his room slumped over on the table drenching in sweat for a half hour before anyone came to give him some juice. They also didn't change his sheets so he had to sit in the visitor chair. When the doctor came in to see him before surgery he could have cared less about any questions my husband had. There was an aide that said they liked to joke around and not even 5 min later she was offended. The morning of his surgery he tried to tell the nurses what was going on and they didn't want to hear it. I just moved to New Castle from Florida. I had watery vomiting and diarrhea for six hours straight with inability to hold down sips of water or medicine. I became weak, lightheaded, and felt like I was going to pass out. I ended up driving myself to the ER. First they tried to register me under the wrong patient and I had to explain I've never been seen seen previously. While waiting to be taken back I stepped outside for air and started dry heaving and became lightheaded. A nurse walked by and never acknowledged me when I asked for her help. Once back in a room and IV started, three vials of blood were drawn; however, no labs were ordered. Thank you all for saving my life! I came in with severe complications of a massive infection in my blood and kidney, and immunocompromised due to Polycythemia cancer. I have SLE as well and I'm medically fragile. I literally was drowning in my own body from the inside out. I had two large obstructing struvite kidney stones in urosepsis with P.Mirabilis with bilateral pneumonia, pulmonary edema and pulmonary hypertension. A week in ICU then readmitted, here now. I would have died if not for the highly professional, empathetic, respectful, compassionate care I received. I love this hospital. It was the best, most healing experience on multiple levels. I will be forever grateful for your care! My surgery and hospital stay restored my health.

Here's an excellent example of how employees are the problem, but they make patients out to be: two employees who had their hands on their faces in the ED waiting room for so long I was astonished and eventually took a picture. On the other hand, myself and one other women waiting in that waiting room who *were* masked up were over and over looked at by passing staff like we stepped out of a time portal from a leper colony.
