UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care

The staff were friendly and I was seen pretty quick. The only change I would make is having the provider introduce themselves. He was not wearing a badge, so I had no idea if he was a Physician, Physician Assistant or a Nurse Practitioner.

The girl at the front desk was wonderful! There were several issues with opening the doors to the facility and getting the computer up and running but she handled everything professionally with a smile. She had a pleasing personality and gave me a positive experience. The doctor also created a positive experience. There was no wait time.

This place is awful. Used the save my spot option for my 4 year old special needs daughter as her PCP was unable to see her today. We Waited an hour and half before actually getting called back. The provider was annoyed that she was getting fussy so he had the MA get her popsicle to quiet her down because she was fussy and crying, well yeah she’s fussy and crying, she’s 4, nonverbal and doesn’t feel well then you make her wait over an hour for any type of care. We get in a room finally and then was told that the provider will not treat her because he doesn’t treat pediatrics. Don’t list that you are an urgent care that treats 6 month plus then refuse service to a four year. Also don’t have a save my place option if you aren’t going to see the patients at the time they saved.

Visited this facility after a fall. The receptionist was helpful and friendly. The medical assistant was also friendly and helpful. After consultation with a physician had x-rays taken quickly and a diagnosis rendered. Was in and out in an hour. Facility was clean, modern and welcoming. Have added it to my list of future health facilities! .

Would travel further again to stay within the UPMC umbrella. I did make an appointment. Check in was quick and I was seen immediately. Appreciated the time he took with me. I only wish it would show up in my UPMC portal. It is not there. With the switch over of portals near the end of September. It’s been a mess. I can’t even message my doctor like I used to. Hopefully they’ll get it figured out.
