UPMC Chautauqua

I've never been more disgusted with a hospital than I am with UPMC Chautauqua. My husband passed here last month and the lack of empathy and experience is appalling! What was reffered to as "comfort care" is nothing more than a holding hell hole where they overdose you on pain meds when no pain was involved. I filed 5 complaints, 2 with the hospital and 3 with the state only to be completely ignored. I have photos of the lack of care and neglect and not one of them cared to look at them.. I'd think twice before taking a loved one to this place.

The outpatient surgery department treated us so well today as my husband had a biopsy done. Every staff member was very kind and efficient. They all did their best and we had a great experience.

Seems to be long wait times in the ER. We totally were rushed out this morning,, they started changing the bed before my husband was even dressed and ready to go!!! the doctor never even came back to tell us the results of scans and xrays

First of all, thank God for everything and for all the people who work in this hospital. God bless their lives in the name of Jesus. Our experience in this hospital and the treatment in the recovery room was excellent, thanks to the nurses who dedicate their lives to this, and thanks to Dr. Grijalva Arnoné for his excellent work in the surgery. God continue to bless your hands.

I spent 6+hours at the emergency room on 10/16/2025. I was sent there by the V.A. to have a Doppler done on my leg to see if there was a blood clot causing the fatigue in my leg. When I got there it was very busy so I understand my wait would be long. However after it slowed down about 10:00 p.m. I figured I would be seen soon. Still not seen by 1:00A.M. and being told you’re going to be next for the 4th time, I left.
