My wife was having a migraine and we are from out of town. She was afraid of having to get healthcare from a hospital she is unfamiliar with and I was afraid for her too. We came a bit after 12 am and the doctor and nurse were very helpful, nice and knowledgeable in her situation. Dr. Eaglestein and nurse Victoria were the best and the wait wasn’t bad either. It was a great experience and my wife was treated properly.

I’ve generally trusted UHealth for medical care, but my recent experiences have been incredibly frustrating due to repeated scheduling and communication failures. Within just one week, I received conflicting information from different departments about portal access for my son, showing clear miscommunication between teams. Shortly after, my gynecology appointment was changed from telehealth to an in-person visit without my knowledge or consent, and I was later told a nurse had informed me — which never happened. I ended up having to drive downtown unnecessarily. The most frustrating experience happened with a mammogram appointment. The automated system offered me an earlier appointment, which showed as confirmed in both my account and text messages. After driving through heavy traffic an

Horrible service. I have been waiting two months for an appointment with an OBGYN for a Pap smear. A week before the appointment, I find out it was scheduled as a telehealth visit, for a Pap smear. How does that even make sense? I called to correct the issue and rescheduled with another MD. Hours later, my appointment was switched again without my consent to a completely different date and time and with an NP. I then received a voicemail stating that the appointment with the MD was a “mistake.” It was not a mistake. The appointment was available, confirmed, and agreed upon. I specifically requested to see a MEDICAL DOCTOR, not an NP or PA. Rescheduling patients without their consent and changing providers without authorization is highly unprofessional. Patients wait months for care, this

After being a patient for over 10 years I can honestly say that these people only care about money. This year they have decided to only accept HMO Medicare plans from Preferred Medical Network which is a United healthcare company which lost billions of dollars last year. My plan was changed without my knowledge and it includes deductables on meds and my primary care physician. They couldn't care less about a patient's loyalty and are letting Preferred do these things. Recently I read an article about Dr.Lamela one of the top cardiovascular surgeons in the country who worked out of Mt.Sinai and was recruited by them. The article was in reference to the hospital telling him to conduct more surgeries than the number he was doing. Dr.Lamela stated that doing so would be unsafe to the patient a

Terrible experience over the phones. All they did was transfer me between offices, not even asking questions. I got transferred a total of 7 times. Then after 6 transfers they ask me how many weeks I have and I say I’m 26 weeks pregnant. They tell me they stop seeing new patients at 25 weeks and they were transferring me to Jackson Hospital. I called customer service and they had no knowledge about this protocol, he contacted the office and they said I have to be transferred to high risk and nothing being said about not taking me because of 26 weeks.
