BE WARNED! My son is being charged $1,000 for having been seen at urgent care for an ear infection. Our insurance is picking up some of it, but because we're out of network, we'll pay over $900. For. An. Ear. Infection. Something is truly broken at IHC.

Worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. If you have a choice, choose elsewhere.

I had robotic surgery and radiation treatment at UIHC. Staff and physicians were excellent. I drive 100 miles to Iowa City and am happy I'm just 90 minutes away.

Exceptional medical care, tertiary care is beyond exceptional. As a nurse, I know a bit about what I'm talking about, having been a part of all the hospital systems in the area. Even short staffed due to covid and the people who refuse to listen to providers until it's too late, they are working harder and making sure with less and less. They were the first hospital & for a while the only one) in the state to admit covid cases, and they hit the ground running. If you have a chance to be seen there, take it and take along some kind words for the providers there!
