Advanced Dentistry of Iowa City

I am new to the area and was recommended by a friend to come to Advanced Dentistry of Iowa City. I am so happy that I was!! Dr.Redmond was so thorough, welcoming, and knowledgeable. I’ve never received such care as a first time visit and such honest service of my teeth. Other dentists I’ve had would have upsold any service but Dr.Redmond told me honestly how any issue I brought up was not a concern for her. If you’re looking for a new dentist, you won’t be disappointed in this practice!

Office manager is absolutely incompetent. And instead of accepting that she’s made a mistake or multiple will lie about what she discussed with you in the first place. She likes to talk over people and degrade them. Claims she is submitting things to insurance as a courtesy but never actually files them. Definitely unprofessional. I’ll be reporting the scam they are running to the Iowa dental board.

I travel a lot, and I sometimes chew on things that I shouldn't. Which means that I have an assortment of crowns repairing cracked teeth. Most recently…two days ago. This office is the only one I’ve been to that will mill a crown in house and bond the final repair in one visit. I have three from Dr. Molly and (the two that predate this most recent) get unsolicited compliments from other dentists when I’m traveling. I hope you don’t need this service, but if you do, know that she’ll work to fit you in. My first visit was in 1998: Dr. Molly is the best.

The staff member was very courteous, and the office was very efficient. The hygienist had taken time to review my file before seeing me, so she knew my background. She was very knowledgeable and took time to explain and make suggestions. The dentist was excellent, she took the time to examine and discuss, and you knew she was competent and that you would be getting the best, state-of-the-art care available. I have been going to Advanced Dentistry for many years, and I highly recommend this office.

My family's experiences at Advanced Dentistry all always 5 star. We have been clients here for many years (since my kids were young and they are now in their late twenties). I have had many crowns placed here and Dr. Molly does a fabulous job with them. This month 3 of the 4 in my family had visits here for teeth cleaning. Everything here runs smoothly and all the staff a so friendly and excel in their fields. We have high regard for this business, but it doesn't even seem like a business because it feels like we are part of the family.
