University Dental Associates Weston

The dentist is good and the hygienist, Amy, is very good. The rest is so bad it is best to avoid this place. My wife dropped them when they repeatedly billed my dental insurance for her procedures. Now I am leaving them as they billed my son for an xray 6 months ago, and the insurance did not cover it. That would be unfortunate, but it was made bad since the UDA dental office never notified me. Instead they had a collection agency send me a bill in the mail, which I paid the day it arrived. I pay my bills on time. I called the office and they claimed a bill was mailed 3 times, but I never received it. The USPS is not that bad, and the collection agency was able to mail a bill to me. I don't want my credit score impacted due to an incompetent dental office, so I left. I told them to cancel

Had a great experience being a patient here (I'm moving away). The staff and dentist, Dr. Kovicak, were great. But my reason for remaining a patient while I lived in NC was Amy Layton, my dental hygienist. Amy is by far the BEST dental hygienist I have had the pleasure of having in my life so far. She did an amazing job explaining WHAT was going on with my teeth and WHY so that I could understand HOW to take care of them better. For example, she explained that the calcium buildup in certain regions of my mouth was due to saliva glands and how flossing would help me. If there is a dental hygienist hall of fame, Amy should be part of it.

The manager and staff are very kind. I had an issue, and they helped me resolve it. Would recommend this dentist office.

I just recently changed dentist offices because I had heard good things about university dental. When I arrived for my appointment the front staff was not the greatest start to my experience and so i became more anxious, but I am SO glad I waited to be seen. The dental assistant Jen welcomed me back with a warm smile and walked me through everything thoroughly and made me feel comfortable off the bat. The hygienist was wonder and the dentist as well. I truly felt my needs were met. As long as the staff in the back doesn’t change I will be a regular!!!!

Maddie at the front desk was a great help! Our family has been coming to this UDA location since it opened and I was grateful that Maddie was working the day I dropped in to have my bill/insurance coverage explained. She was professional, patient and all around helpful. Thank you Maddie!
