Unitek College Hayward Campus

I had a great experience completing the LVN program at Unitek College. Although the program is challenging, I would say that it is very rewarding and truly prepares you for the nursing field. Throughout the year, the instructors and staff were very supportive and always willing to guide us whenever we needed help. I especially want to thank Mr. Dungo & Ms.Heidi, who were our main instructors throughout the program. They were very patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about our success. With their support and dedication, my colleagues and I felt more confident and motivated to keep pushing through the program; whether its inside the classroom or during our clinical rotations. My partner and I had a great experience attending the LVN program at Unitek College’s Hayward campus. The program provided a strong combination of classroom learning and clinical experience, which helped us gain valuable knowledge and hands-on skills for our nursing careers. We are especially thankful to Mrs. Heidi, Mrs. Woodard, and Mr. Dungo. They are wonderful instructors who are patient, supportive, and truly care about their students’ success. They shared their knowledge and real-life experiences, making learning both engaging and meaningful. Overall, we are very grateful for the training and support we received at Unitek. It helped prepare us with confidence to move forward in our nursing careers.

Unitek is a great college to help with medical assisting. I would definitely recommend to go here if you want to learn the basics of the medical field. Ms. Tay is the best teacher to teach medical assisting, she's very persistent with her work and very educated. She helped me a lot when I would struggle with learning some skills. She's straight to point which I love, her criticism may come off wrong to others but it's in a respectful manner and their always with good intensions. It's really a reality check to me, healthcare facility staff may not always be friendly but they are helpful when you are in need. Overall, I enjoyed my time at Unitek. Everyone was so helpful and understanding of situations. I'm glad I chose Unitek College.

I can't say enough great things about Mr. John he's truly an outstanding teacher. From day one, he has created an environment that’s both professional and incredibly supportive. He has a gift for breaking down complex medical concepts into simple, easy-to-understand lessons, which makes learning not just easier, but genuinely enjoyable. What makes Mr. John stand out is how much he truly cares about his students. I was enrolled a year LVN program here, the staffs were nice and helpful. The school prepped us so well, so we can finally successfully get the license, we almost have quiz every day. I was able to get my license within a month after finishing the program just need to follow the instructions from Ms Jessie and always study hard. Besides, after that, Paul Toomey- the graduate employment specialist helped me a lot for finding a fitted LVN job. He will call you, check on you and offer many opportunities for you cuz sometimes it's not easy as a new grad. Thank you for all the staffs and instructors, it's a nice experience there!
