10 STAR WORTHY HOSPITAL I will never have enough words to fully express my gratitude to everyone at United Hospital. What started as what I thought was “just a migraine” turned into one of the scariest moments of my life — a basilar artery dissection. In a matter of hours, my world flipped upside down. I was terrified. I had to be admitted, underwent four angiograms, and faced so much uncertainty. But from the very first moment I walked through the doors, I was surrounded by extraordinary people. Dr. Carrol and his entire team were nothing short of amazing. His calm presence, expertise, and the way he took the time to truly explain everything helped steady me during a time when I felt anything but steady. The Neuro ICU doctors and nursing staff are absolute heroes. They watched over me w

One of the worst experiences ever. Went to ER on advice of my doctor. Was having right side jaw pain and could barely open my mouth. First had to ask for my own arm band. Then checked to make sure I was on list. Then got called back to room to start IV. Then waited to have CT scan done. Then again waited forever to be brought back to room in ER room to wait. Never was told what was going on. Finally told I was eventually gonna have to put a gown on which I never did. Finally doctor came in said I was being admitted for tonsilitis and abscess. Probably remove tonsils and drain abscess but wasn't sure if that night or in morning so wasn't able to eat or drink. Finally another doctor came in and said waiting on a room upstairs and he personally gave me applesauce and orange juice. Next day my

Had emergency surgery for Gangrene here as well as a 2 week stay after for the first leg of my recovery. Lots of different specialists and professionals worked on my case during my stay and while communication between them could have been a bit better (I did have to repeat myself quite a bit) it was great to see just how much talent I had looking out for me and how many ways they were ensuring I would recover. All the specialists I met with were fantastic. I had many different nurses and all were at least okay with a few being incredible. The room was very clean and organized, not as comfortable or cozy as I'd like but it is a hospital after all. Only real complaints are the TV was pretty poor (especially for being the only real entertainment in the room) and the bed was noisy. For a hosp

I had knee replacement.. Very new to this stayed in room 6922. The day shift was great. However the night shift is HORRIBLE. No one offers anything Nurse was rude. I cried in pain he smirked. Looks like he was here to collect a check only. 11-7 shirt name starts with H.

Been in the emergency room for 5 and a half hours after explaining that I have been having severe heart issues. I was Also told I was next in line 4+ times. Honestly you have a better chance of going door to door at random hoping you’ll find a doctor than getting in at a reasonable time in this place.
