UNC Urgent Care at Chatham Park

My 3-yr old grandson was visiting from VA and was up with ear pain much of the night before our visit. I called first thing, the next morning. The front desk woman took as much info over the phone as possible, to save time once we arrived. She also expedited our appt. Once there, everyone was extremely kind and professional. The entire office was clean and well organized. My daughter-in-law was so relieved and grateful. Thank you to everyone working the Friday after Thanksgiving! We appreciate all of you!

My husband sliced his finger open one Sunday afternoon. Staff was very helpful on the phone and he was seen quickly. Doctor and nurse were very caring and friendly. My husband received stitches and medication was called in to pharmacist. Husband has healed very well.

I took my 3 year old boy in with my wife because we thought he might have the hand, mouth foot thing. At check in the receptionist asked several questions and one was the birthdate. I looked at my wife and she answered the question as we both where there checking him in. The receptionist proceeded to Laugh at the fact that I didn’t rattle off my son’s bday quickly and that my wife answered the question. I just stood there quietly as she laughed and laughed for like 15 seconds. I thought this was very unprofessional and uncalled for. So I hope you all get this type of thing cleaned up going forward. It was the white lady who worked the shift on November the 12th and we were that at 4:45. Really bad form for two parents simply bringing their son in because he is sick and we don’t appreciate

Showed up at 7:18 to get help for my elderly father in law. Empty waiting room with the lights off. They told us the provider wouldn’t take us given they don’t accept patients after 7:15. It’s really disappointing that we would get turned away with literally no patients in clinic. I hope management understands how frustrating this is when we seek care in a small town.

We get there at 6:50…they close at 8PM and we are told there are no appointments available for the rest of the evening. The photo is of their lobby at the time. (that is my son). Would not recommend. And am told I can’t make the first appointment go tomorrow because she’s it’s walk-in when they open from 0800-0900. 🤯
