UNC Pediatrics at Weaver Crossing

My son used to a patient of them for 6 years. He has a fever now, I am calling for an appointment. After verifying all of our information, the clerk J said since we have not seen him in three years, we have to creat an comprehensive evaluation appointment in order to make him an established patient instead of a sick appointment of a closer time. That means if you are healthy for some years and doesn’t visit this place, you are out and could not be helped. She totally doesn’t care about patient sickness and only wants to follow the bureaucratic rules by UNC hospital. If a pedo hospital could not help when kids need, what is the point of its existence?

Absolutely the WORST. Had a same day appointment because my child was sick and needed to be seen. I arrived on time but my daughter threw up on the way there and had to clean her up before going in. When I got to the desk the lady explained that the Dr had left. My arrival didn’t exceed the grace period. After explaining what happened with my daughter and seeing her stripped naked, they did not care. Don’t understand how they schedule late appointments. Just lazy employees and don’t even care about the patients.

Dr. Dixon is so amazing. Sadly due to our move we will have to find a new practice and doctor. She is amazing with both my kids. Very patient, always listens to our concerns, and remembers things about both of my kids. We were very lucky to be her patients

Our pediatrician Dr.Dixon is very good with our baby. Despite it being a doctor visit he always smiles when he sees her. She is very attentive to any concerns any new parent has. She is very positive, patient, and extremely professional. Would recommend her for any new parent or not so new.

Every one I've encountered here has been thoroughly professional and accomplished. Appointments have been right on time. They've all been good at listening and explaining.
