UNC Health Nash Urgent Care

This is the best walk in clinic/urgent care ive been to in the area. The doctor and nurse were helpful and nice to my son (who was there for an ear infection). Honestly, all the staff were great. Only a few people there and the place was very clean. I was waiting for my bill before i posted to see if they charged a crazy amount like the other review said but in my case it was $127, so a bit cheaper than his normal doctor on a sick visit. We will definitely be back if/when we need an urgent care.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND. BEWARE. While the staff were professional, I would not recommend this place to anyone because the system is not upfront about how much I will be billed. In other clinics, they require you to pay while checking in for an appointment. If that had happened at this clinic, it would have been clear to me how much the bill would be. I was told that I would receive the bill later on and that they could not tell me for sure how much it would cost. They also could not tell me if I was in network or not. I acknowledge that I took a risk in going through with the appointment without knowing the full cost. I just received the bill and it was over $500 because it was out of network for my insurance policy. Had it been made clear to me at the beginning of the visit that it was out of

We were in and out in about 30 minutes. Super quick and very friendly. I took my son in complaining of a sore throat, and we had the results from a strep test in less than 20 minutes. Highly recommend!

I took my mom to Nash UNC Urgent Care. We had a very pleasant experience and were very pleased. We were in and out in 30 minutes. Awesome service and great care. Dameyun and Katelyn, PA are both amazing. I would highly recommend this facility and will be returning if needed. Katelyn is thorough, listens to you and answers any questions you have. Dameyun is well mannered and very professional. Kudos to Dameyun and Katelyn! 10/10 service.

It would be helpful if they stayed open the hours that are posted (until 6pm). I showed up tonight with my infant and was turned away at 5:31 because they were “closed” according to the receptionist/nurse/whomever came out from behind the closed door inside. I even pointed out that it said 6pm on the door and that she was making me put my infant back in the car to go somewhere else when they were supposed to be open. -10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND Photo of the time on my phone when I got back in the car (5:32pm)
