The whole practice is filled with incompetent physicians. I had Dr. Sarah Starr who has departed as of this review. She put me on 5 MG of Rosuvastatin and the cholesterol test came back high. Obviously needing a higher dosage, she left me at 5 MG and thus I departed as I had enough. As many reviews state, the doctors don't listen, don't take action to correct a problem and fail in every aspect of family medicine. They just sit there and listen to you. A collection of physicians collecting a paycheck doing absolutely nothing for the patient. I've never seen anything like it. I hope the network closes this location for poor reviews and lacking, do nothing doctors. Good riddance.

This place used to be a nice family practice ran by kind people up front. They were flexible and responsive. Kind and helpful. Now, that is not the case. Many times you’ll sit in the office waiting to be seen, late for the appointment that you have set. But if you’re late, no flexibility, they just cancel the appointment. Also, no advice over the phone even for simple things. You must make an appt so they can bill your insurance. I left this practice because they no longer employ kind people up front, and it doesn’t feel like a “Family Practice” to me anymore. It’s just a bunch of robots collecting checks.

The experience was deeply uncomfortable and unprofessional, especially as a 20 year-old female patient. The staff member assigned to perform the EKG clearly lacked proper training or experience, they struggled with the machine for an extended period, leaving me exposed from the waist up for about 20-25 minutes while lying on the exam table. Worse still, the nurse repeatedly left the room without closing the door, allowing it to remain wide open for most of that time. People were walking by in the hallway, and I had to use my hands to cover my breasts to maintain any semblance of privacy. This blatant disregard for patient dignity made me feel vulnerable and embarrassed. Eventually, my doctor entered, noticed the issue, fixed the EKG machine herself, and properly completed the procedure. Sh

So we have the same insurance coverage, same clinic (UNC) when we moved from Holly Springs to Apex. I LOVED the UNC Holly Springs and my doctor there. When we moved here, I set up my annual wellness checkup several months in advance. I made sure it was at least 12 months from the past wellness checkup. I went in for the checkup and was told there will be 25 dollar copay. I never had to pay copay for annual wellness checkup. I met the Doctor and got the regular checkup done. Then I got my usual blood tests done. After several months, I got a very hefty bill (multiple bills) amounting to over 400 dollars out of pocket, not covered by insurance. I was very surprised as all my life, my insurance has always covered the annual wellness checkup and the blood tests associated with it. I called th

I’ve had a wonderful experience with my primary care physician , Dr.Sarah Starr . From the very first visit, she has shown genuine care and attention to my concerns. She Is an excellent listener, never rush through appointments, and always make me feel heard and understood. What truly sets her apart is her outstanding communication—everything is explained clearly and thoughtfully, which gives me confidence and peace of mind in my care. I’m grateful to have a doctor who is not only knowledgeable but also compassionate and attentive. Highly recommend!
