UNC Cardiology at Nash

One of the best medical experiences I’ve ever had. Dr. Patel was wonderful. The office staff was also amazing. Highly recommend!

Dr Prasada is my original physician and is great. We agreed on a treatment plan that works and he also made sure I understood the risk and benefits. The 1 star rating is for the time spent waiting. Having a different np who doesn’t share the same mentality with treatment. It’s just prescriptions regardless of the interactions of other meds and side effects. I waited over 10 mins on the phone only to be met with a rude receptionist who made me feel like I was inconveniencing her. The in office wait time is excessive as well. You can get in a room quickly but you’ll be in there about an hour just to get 10 mins with the physician.

I received the very best of care, compassion and medical care possible during my recent procedure and stay at UNC cardiology. The staff went beyond to make sure I was taken care of and in calming me during very serious procedures. I cannot praise them enough and my family has been told that if I need medical attention, to take me no further than Nash UNC (especially if my need relates to cardio.) I have no complaints at all. THANKS TO EVERYONE THERE....

My husband recently was at the UNC Heart Center at Nash, and he could not have received better care anywhere! Dr. Prasada and the his staff were attentive, highly skilled, and compassionate before, during, and after his procedure. Without reservation we are confident that anyone with heart issues will receive excellent, state of the art care at UNC Cardiology at Nash. They saved his life.

Inconsistency regarding medical advice and follow up appointments. I wasn't given the appropriate discharge instructions and was not made aware of my prescription for over two weeks. I'm honestly feeling jerked around and questioning the care I've received. I've waited over one month for an electrophysiology referral that was promised on June 26th. I had to call and remind the medical staff to set the appointment. I expect to have another 10,000 appointments scheduled to waste my time.
