UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital

The UHS Cardiology at Norwich Is a newer addition to CMH. The facility is clean and I was promptly greeted upon entrance to Cardiology. I was brought back to an exam room in under 10 minutes. The nurse who took my vital signs and history, was courteous and efficient. I was scheduled to see Fawn Mumbulo FNP. She reviewed my patient history prior to my new patient exam which allowed her to be thorough and efficient during my visit. We discussed all relevant health issues in detail, and I was very satisfied with my cardiology visit. It is a great convenience to have Cardiology services right here in Norwich. I would highly recommend UHS Cardiology at Norwich.

I was graciously checked in, then Christina brought me in for my EKG, very professional! Then Sue Button took the time to go over my details and found my heart cath records which I never had and put in a request for them. Sue also was very thorough in explaining my present case. I went in to have an X-ray on my foot. Simple. I came in at 10:45. The two technicians looked at me and took people all around me as if I wasn’t there. There was an emergency but we will get to that. People came in at 11, 11:15, … 11:50, 12. They took them all! I am still here. At 12:15 I went to the check in desk to ask if I was on the list to be seen and I guess I shouldn’t have. The woman behind the desk roll her eyes, started breathing erratically, hit her desk, started spinning around in her sit and do you really need a list.? Now I could tell you what the problem is, but then I would have to call you people racist. I won’t do that. You need some constructive criticism. I’ve held off writing a bad review but I’m really over this place and the continuous disrespect as soon as I walk through the doors. In 2020 I walked in bleeding thinking it was a miscarriage mind you my nurse, that’s my aunt walked in and said “I see you’re all knocked up here”. Then in 2021 I brought my first daughter here due to her being extremely sick and having seizures long story short my daughters heart rate sent off alarms and no one moved a muscle. Then came in told me everything was fine and that they have no reason to test her. Mind you she had a 102° fever and like I stated seizures. I took her to another hospital and she had Covid and bronchitis :) so much for nothing right. Now flash forward I just now took my second daughter there hoping maybe it would be better. I didn’t

I have to say I am seriously impressed by the level of care I received on my visit. This has not always been the case with this hospital in the past but now it seems as though they have put that all behind them. Great job UHS Norwich!!
