UH Urgent Care North Ridgeville

Sat in lobby for 30 minutes before finally being called back. Seemed that there were no other patients there so not sure what took so long. Nurse that took my vitals was extremely nice. (Only reason it’s 2 stars instead of 1 star). Sat in room for over 40 minutes waiting on doctor. She was not very pleasant. I received my Covid test results on my phone 15 minutes before she finally came back in to discuss results.

3 HOUR APPOINTMENT!! I went in for a physical which normally don’t take long. They did have to retrieve my info from another UH but with the magic of technology it doesn’t take three hours. I waited an hour in the lobby. I went back and was promised a short meeting - I did not know i’d be waiting two more hours. Just for a vision test, paperwork, and a simple motion test. Two hours for three simple things. If it’s really that embarrassing to be so slow, don’t even lie. Be honest. If you go here you will NOT “be out soon”. I had to kiss all of my plans goodbye to accommodate for the whatever you might call staff. If you want to wait three hours book a flight to Florida. I do not care about University Hospitals reply because people slow as you do not deserve my money or my time. Please take

The staff at this location 12/26/25 were top notch. I give credit to each one of them for remaining kind and patient despite being inundated with patients and only one provider to see patients. The front desk staff were upfront with everyone who came in the door about the situation and apologized for long wait time. Every staff member we encountered was pleasant and compassionate. Our provider Catherine A Taylor, APRN-CNP apologized to us for the long wait but we thanked her for being so kind, calm and collected. She provided excellent care during a busy time and still gave us the time we deserved. She was thorough, answered questions and showed excellent bedside manor. I was able to schedule an appointment within 20 minutes on line. I was seen quickly. Got what I needed and was out the door within about 30 minutes. When you are not feeling well, the last thing you want is to sit around waiting a long time to get care. On top of being fast, everyone was really kind and friendly. This is definitely my new Urgent Care location.

TLDR: Staff was friendly and helpful. Wait time a little long. XRay not always available. Waiting room was clean and comfortable. Online registration took about 5 min and check in was fast and easy. We got in right away for vitals. There were a few people ahead of us, so it was around 40 minutes till we saw the provider. Went there with a suspected sprain specifically because they have Xray available. After finally seeing the provider found out we had to go somewhere else the next day (too late to go to another UH location) because no Xray staff was available at the time. So after driving out of the way, specifically to this location, we have to go somewhere else in the morning. UH, please have staff on hand for services offered or dont offer them.
