Contact an attorney before you contact these people. They represent the hospital and don’t care about you. After being told by Dr Leland that I would be off for almost 2 years. After mailing paperwork into his office I received it back saying I would be back to work in three months. Social security benefits denied. Went back to Leland and he fixed the paperwork saying I would be off for 1.5 to 2 years. Sent that paperwork in and I have to wait 5 months so basically starting over. This time Leland sent me to Dr sih for an emg for my right shoulder. Renee did a carpal tunnel test on right wrist. It was supposed to be my right shoulder. Dr sih came in and did a test on my left shoulder not my right shoulder. Then asked me why I was there because they could not do the test I was there for and
I rarely leave reviews like this, but my recent experience here was extremely disappointing. Women’s healthcare should not still feel like it’s stuck in the barbaric stages of medicine, where pain during procedures is treated as something patients should simply tolerate rather than properly addressed. My concerns about pain management and proper planning for a procedure were not taken seriously, which resulted in multiple appointments, missed work, and a copay for a visit where the issue was not resolved. Situations like this should be handled with much more care and consideration for patients. I have already submitted a formal complaint to Patient Advocacy regarding the care I received and am hoping the organization takes this matter seriously and reviews the situation. Additionally, t
My sister was just there for over a month. Her case was extremely complicated and rare. The doctors worked endlessly to determine a diagnosis. The nurses and doctors were ALL absolutely wonderful. They were smart as ever, but also cared for my sister and us the family as if we were their only patient. They were never in a hurry to leave, and took as much time as needed to talk to us and answer our questions. They were absolutely amazing, and I will always recommend UH to anyone looking for medical care. SPECIAL SHOUT OUT TO THE NEURO ICU STAFF !!!!!!!!!!! Thank you all so much for all you do! You are wonderful people!
I recently removed my previous review because it didn’t reflect the gratitude I truly feel. I want to start by apologizing if I offended anyone in any way. I was in pain, sick, scared, and honestly unsure of what the outcome would be. I was anxious, overwhelmed, and extremely thirsty, and I overreacted when the nurses couldn’t give me juice or even ice chips. Looking back, they were following the plan my doctors set for my safety, and they stayed committed to it. For that, I am genuinely sorry. Dr. Abbas and his entire team deserve my deepest thanks. Every person involved in my care was knowledgeable, professional, and dedicated. I’m grateful for everything they did for me. To the nurses—each and every one of you treated me with respect and professionalism. Even when I was frustrated, yo
A nightmare. Visited a UH urgent care center and was advised to go to the ER. After hours and hours in the ER, the doctor told me I shouldn't have been advised to come there. My insurance was taken twice in the ER, including once my a woman who needed to know if I owned my house. (I get why they wanted to know that!) Later, I receive a bill (among many other confusing ones pertaining to the same visit) that I owe $10K+. (They should be treating heart attacks, not causing them!) I called UH billing and after a run-around they finally tell me that they never ran it through my insurance. Eventually, a bill came for a few hundred dollars, which I paid. Now, many months later, I'm receiving a text that I still owe them money. The text has no link to see or pay the bill. I've received nothing v
