She was always highly prepared and organized for each session, often using games and cooking activities that tied directly to our son's specific speech goals and to make speech therapy feel fun, not work. Ms. Marilee is compassionate, gentle, and kind!

As an 18 year old who has been to many different speech therapists, I can confidently say that Marilee is the best of the best! All of my prior therapists had only one goal: to make me speak fluently. Which, on paper, sounds great, but it leaves out the entire mental side of having a speech impediment--ironically, speech impediments stem from the brain! I couldn't believe there was someone out there who could actually understand what I was going through and walk me through the challenges that came with having a stutter. Having and overcoming a speech impediment herself, Marilee was able to relate to my struggles, offer counsel, and help me pave a path to freedom from my own stutter. Marilee was simply the best. My 9 yr old son had a problem with letter -R- and we decided to go with Marilee, after reading all the great reviews online. My son loved each and every visit and was heartbroken when we were told last week, that he´s done with the therapy after only 6 months. Marilee made sure his every class was fun and very productive, including speech/cooking pizza class and multiple field trips to nature center and different local stores.
