If you are looking for a medical practice in Malibu that actually cares about your health and respects your time, do not go to this UCLA Health location. This office operates like a corporate patient mill that prioritizes trapping you into a billable encounter over providing adequate care. I arrived 10 minutes late for an appointment to get new cholesterol labs done. Instead of the front desk staff being honest and simply rescheduling me, they intentionally ushered me into an exam room just to ensure they could trigger a billing code. Dr. Frochtzwajg rushed into the room, quickly glanced at my old lab values, gave a hurried explanation, checked my pulse, and then announced he 'didn't have time' to do the actual labs I came in for because I was late. I came here after tearing my ACL and Dr. Boland was the first doctor that genuinely cared about my wellbeing and recovery. He listened to everything I said and saw me pretty quickly! This staff at this office was amazing! I’m surprised they don’t have a higher rating. Thank you everyone for your support and kindness, it meant a lot especially after such terrible experiences elsewhere.

I am deeply disappointed and disturbed by the treatment I received at this clinic, both medically and ethically. My experience began with Dr. Ashley Bateman, who consistently ran late and exhibited an extremely cold and detached bedside manner. She entered incorrect information in my medical records, which has had serious legal implications. Additionally, I have strong reason to believe she violated HIPAA regulations by disclosing my private medical information inappropriately. Seeking better care, I transitioned to Dr. Frochtzwajg, who was more compassionate. Update-got a link to fill out a form for UCLA on why I have a bad review. I doubt it will change anything on how that location operates. If I could give them less than 1 star I would. They CANCELLED my appointment (on a Saturday)-evening that was put on the books, confirmed, paperwork filled out and confirmed, when my appointment was a Tuesday - so ONE business day prior, because they don't take appointments unless you are already a patient? How did an appointment and ALL the paperwork happen if that is their policy? HORRIBLE. They are supposed to be part of the UCLA system, but apparently not. Will NEVER choose them in any capacity. HORRIBLE experience. Now I have to start over and HOPE I can get in somewhere less. WORSE that KP.

They are such an amazing clinic. Everyone is so kind and professional. The doctors are highly responsive and excellent.
